Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Nurse Manager for the Emergency Department. The role leads daily operations, ensures clinical excellence, and drives quality and patient safety initiatives within a Level II trauma setting.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Nursing with at least 1 year of leadership experience, PA RN licensure (or multi-state via eNLC), and preferably a Master’s in Nursing. Strong collaboration with the Nurse Manager and education teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
• 1 year of demonstrated clinical leadership experience required.
• Current State of PA RN licensure OR current multi-state licensure through eNLC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily operations of the patient care department.
• Provide clinical and administrative leadership and strategic planning support.
• Promote professional development and nursing certification with the team.
• Ensure patient safety, regulatory readiness, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Manage department budget and resources in collaboration with the nurse manager.
