Job summary

The Baptist Health Floyd New Albany, IN area is seeking a Transporter for weekend coverage (Part-time). Responsibilities include timely, courteous transport of patients by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed, plus moving specimens, equipment, and messages to designated locations within the hospital.

This role offers weekend work with premium pay, comprehensive benefits including health/dental/vision, retirement plans, tuition reimbursement, and access to an on-site gym.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification from approved course required, will provide training.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients throughout Baptist Health Floyd facility via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed.
• Transport specimens, equipment/supplies, messages and parcels as designated.
• Perform other support services to ensure service excellence for patients and staff.

Summary Job Description: Seeking Transporter! Part-time (48 hours biweekly), Weekends Only, 8:30a-9:00p Baptist Health Floyd Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area

Responsible for the timely, courteous, and competent transportation of patients throughout the Baptist Health Floyd facility via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed. Also transports specimens, equipment/supplies, messages, and parcels, as designated. Performs a variety of other support services functions as is needed to provide service excellence to patients, visitors and hospital staff.
