Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN invites applicants for a Part-time Transporter role on weekends. You will move patients by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed and handle specimens, equipment, messages, and parcels with care, supporting the hospital staff and patients.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification; healthcare experience is preferred. Weekend work includes premium pay with a benefits package.

Part-time (48 hours biweekly), Weekends Only, 10:30a-11:00p

Baptist Health Floyd
Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area

Responsible for the timely, courteous, and competent transportation of patients throughout the Baptist Health Floyd facility via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed. Also transports specimens, equipment/supplies, messages, and parcels, as designated. Performs a variety of other support services functions as is needed to provide service excellence to patients, visitors and hospital staff.
