Job summary

Baptist Health in Kentucky seeks a Lead Transporter for the First Shift to coordinate the hospital transport team and ensure safe patient and equipment movement. You will help train staff, monitor productivity, and support workflow efficiency across departments using the Epic system.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification (to be obtained within 90 days of hire), and strong communication.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Less than one year of related experience required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Must obtain BLS through the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to coordinate staff workflow and communicate effectively with hospital departments.
  • Ability to safely transport patients and operate hospital transport equipment.

Lead Transporter Full Time, First Shift The Lead Transporter coordinates the daily activities of the hospital transport team while ensuring safe and efficient movement of patients and equipment throughout the facility. This role assists with staff training, supports operational workflow, monitors productivity, and ensures compliance with hospital safety standards and procedures.
