Job summary

FreshPoint, Inc. seeks a Transportation Supervisor to support the transportation manager/director in supervising delivery and backhauls, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient operations.

You will train and supervise associates, coordinate with warehouse and customer service teams, review productivity, and help implement delivery changes while maintaining DOT and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree in business/SCM preferred.
• 2–4 year degree in business management, supply chain, or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily work and safety of transportation associates.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (DOT/OSHA).
• Monitor labor hours and supplies within budget.
• Prepare and adjust work schedules as needed.
• Assist with training of new associates and cross-training.
