Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Transportation Training Manager to oversee the onboarding and training of Selectors and Drivers in the Supply Chain. The role focuses on safety, performance standards, and retention through coaching, mentorship, and data-driven feedback during the first 90 days of new hires.

You will mentor trainers, oversee needs analysis, and drive improvements in safety and efficiency across transportation operations while aligning to regulatory requirements and company values.

Qualifications

• Two years of training/facilitation experience.
• One year experience overseeing a workforce.
• Strong leadership, communication, and people development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-first training for Transportation associates and drivers.
• Coach and develop employees through policy, procedures, and performance plans.
• Oversee onboarding, day-1 to day-90 assimilation for new hires.
• Analyze training needs and align with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Schedule and conduct routine safety and driver meetings.
• Identify process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with Market Operations to mentor trainers and new hires.
