Job summary

Reyes Holdings in Enfield, CT seeks a Transportation Supervisor to oversee daily distribution operations, ensuring on-time dispatches and safe handling of goods. You will plan driver schedules, coordinate with HR on staffing, and guide supervisory and driver teams to meet customer delivery needs.

Responsibilities include implementing SAP processes where applicable, developing the operating plan, and leading safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with 3–4+ years of related experience and 0–1+ years of supervisory experience or High School Diploma with 5+ years of experience and 1–2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Meet annual goals: on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost, and loss/damage control.
• Create a safe working environment by executing company processes.
• Develop the daily operating plan including equipment maintenance and driver schedules to meet customer delivery needs.
• Provide development to supervisory and driver staff; lead committees such as quality and safety.
• Partner with HR to ensure staffing levels year-round for employee involvement.
• SAP knowledge is a plus.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Shift: Wednesday thru Saturday 9:00pm - 7:00am

Position responsibilities:

• The Transportation Supervisor ensures annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost and product loss and damage

• You will ensure a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully

• This role assists in developing the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed our customers’ delivery needs as well as promptly solving problems to the maximum satisfaction of our customers

• The Transportation Supervisor will provide development to supervisory and driver staff, and potentially lead various committees, such as quality and safety

• Additionally, you will partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year in order to foster a work environment with maximized employee involvement

• SAP knowledge a plus

• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Associate's degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience or High School Diploma with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience
