Job summary

Reyes Holdings in the United States seeks a Transportation Supervisor in Enfield, CT to lead on-time dispatches, control costs, and minimize product loss.

You will develop daily operating plans, ensure a safe workplace, coach supervisors and drivers, collaborate with HR for staffing, and support continuous improvement, including SAP processes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 3–4+ years of related experience and 0–1+ years supervisory experience.
• High School Diploma with 5+ years of specific experience and 1–2+ years supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure annual performance goals for on-time dispatches and cost controls.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing company processes.
• Develop daily operating plans including equipment maintenance and driver schedules.
• Provide supervision and development for supervisory and driver staff.
• Partner with HR to maintain staffing levels and maximize employee involvement.

Responsibilities

Position responsibilities:

• The Transportation Supervisor ensures annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost and product loss and damage

• You will ensure a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully

• This role assists in developing the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed our customers’ delivery needs as well as promptly solving problems to the maximum satisfaction of our customers

• The Transportation Supervisor will provide development to supervisory and driver staff, and potentially lead various committees, such as quality and safety

• Additionally, you will partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year in order to foster a work environment with maximized employee involvement

• SAP knowledge a plus

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Associate's degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience or High School Diploma with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree
