Job summary

Reyes Family of Businesses in Lexington, SC is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily delivery operations and plan manpower, assigning drivers and vehicles to meet freight schedules.

You will coordinate drivers with customer requests, ensure DOT compliance, and drive quality and productivity in the warehouse. Coaching the team, meeting timelines, and improving efficiency are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2–4 years of related experience and 0–1+ years of leadership experience.
• Or a high school diploma with 5–7+ years of specific experience and 2–3+ years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily delivery operations, planning and scheduling manpower, and assigning drivers and vehicles to convey freight.
• Coordinate drivers per customer requests and inform them of assignments, entering data in the system while complying with DOT regulations.
• Ensure quality and productivity standards in the warehouse, meeting schedules and maximizing operational efficiency.
• Coach and supervise the warehouse team to ensure proper execution of work procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MUST BE OPEN TO DAY SHIFT + NIGHT SHIFT AND WEEKEND WORK

Position Responsibilities:

• The Operations Supervisor manages daily delivery operations, planning and scheduling manpower, assigning drivers and vehicles to convey freight
• You will coordinate drivers according to customer requests and determines driver's needs, notifying them of assignments entering them into the database while in compliance with DOT regulations
• This role ensures quality standards and productivity standards are achieved in the warehouse, meeting customer schedules and maximizing operational efficiency
• Additionally, you’ll coaches and supervises the warehouse team ensuring completion and proper execution of work procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 to 4 years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of leadership experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 5 to 7 plus years of specific experience and 2 to 3 plus years of leadership experience
