Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a supervisor for drivers to ensure safe, efficient deliveries and DOT compliance. The role involves training, coaching, scheduling, and monitoring driver performance, including reviewing logs and reports.

You will coordinate with the Transportation/Operations Manager to manage daily operations, ensure paperwork accuracy, and maintain vehicle safety and inspections. A background in fleet operations and strong adherence to safety is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years transportation experience; knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
• Experience with computerized fleet management systems.
• Ability to supervise and train drivers, coach performance, and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates, including staffing, training, coaching, and performance management; assist in scheduling and ensuring timely deliveries and pickups; ride with drivers for training/evaluation.
• Assist Transportation/Operations Manager with daily administration, payroll calculations, driver logs and expense reports; ensure DOT and OpCo compliance; operate fleet management software.
