Job summary

Performance Foodservice in New Jersey is seeking a Driver Supervisor to oversee operating company drivers, ensuring deliveries are safe, efficient, and timely. You will monitor DOT logs and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating driver information and schedules.

You will also train staff, support day-to-day transportation operations, and help maintain safe driving practices within a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Supervise and train drivers, ensuring safe, timely deliveries.
Monitor DOT logs and driver compliance with DOT/OpCo regulations.
Coordinate driver data and paperwork; assist in daily transportation operations.

Responsibilities

Supervise associates including staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
Schedules deliveries and rides with drivers; provides on-the-job training and evaluation.
Assist Transportation/Operations Manager with day-to-day admin of transportation, payroll review and issue resolution.
Ensure safe vehicle operation and proper use of safety equipment; attend safety meetings as needed.
Maintain driver records: logs, DVIRs, reports, and relevant paperwork.
