Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee drivers at our Minnesota operating locations. you will supervise staffing, training and performance, ensuring deliveries are safe, timely, and compliant with DOT regulations.

You will coordinate payroll reviews, logs, and expense reporting while maintaining efficient routing and cost control. The role involves hands-on coaching, training rides with drivers, and maintaining post-trip and safety documentation in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 2-4 years transportation or related experience including knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
• Experience in operation of computerized fleet management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates to include staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Assists Transportation/Operations Manager with day-to-day administration of transportation and delivery functions, including payroll, logs, reports, and complying with DOT and OpCo regulations.
• Monitors vehicle safety, ramp and handcart usage, seat and weight belt use, and safe lifting/product-handling practices; attends quarterly safety meetings.
