Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to directly supervise a group of drivers and ensure safe, timely deliveries. The role requires knowledge of routing systems and dispatch procedures along with DOT regulatory awareness.

You will coordinate with other DC departments to ensure accurate deliveries and compliance. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of transportation management experience, knowledge of DOT rules, AS/400 and routing software experience,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of transportation management experience in food distribution.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• AS/400 experience preferred.
• Truck routing software experience preferred.
• Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• English reading/writing sufficient for job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safe, timely, and accurate deliveries via routing and dispatch procedures.
• Review driver logs, hours of service, and DOT compliance.
• Coordinate with distribution center departments for accurate deliveries.
• Assume additional duties and manage special projects as assigned.
