Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Ocala, FL is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to lead a team of drivers, ensure safe and timely deliveries, and maintain compliance with DOT regulations.

You will coordinate with distribution center departments, review driver logs, and handle special projects as assigned. A strong background in transportation management and proficiency with routing software are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of transportation management experience in the food distribution industry.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• AS/400 experience preferred.
• Truck routing software experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a required level.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safe, timely, and accurate deliveries to customers with routing and dispatch procedures.
• Review driver logs, hours of service, and other DOT requirements to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate activities with other distribution center departments to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• This position may have additional duties and be assigned special projects at the supervisor's discretion.
