Job summary

McLane Company, Inc in California is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to provide direct supervision for a group of assigned Drivers, ensuring safe, timely, and accurate deliveries.

You will review driver logs and hours of service for DOT compliance, coordinate with distribution center teams, and handle special projects as needed. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred; 1 year of transportation management experience is desired. Day-one benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of transportation management experience in the food distribution industry.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• AS/400 experience preferred.
• Truck routing software experience preferred.
• Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Read/write/understand English effectively for safety and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safe, timely, and accurate deliveries using multi-stop routing systems and dispatch procedures.
• Review driver logs, hours of service, and other DOT requirements for compliance.
• Coordinate activities with other distribution center departments to ensure accurate deliveries.
• Perform additional duties and participate in special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
