Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Salt Lake City is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee safe and timely deliveries and manage dispatch operations across multiple routes.

The role requires DOT compliance, routing knowledge, and coordination with distribution center teams. You will review driver logs, hours of service, and regulations while supporting special projects and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year of transportation management experience in food distribution.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• AS/400 experience preferred.
• Truck routing software experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at work level.
• Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safe, timely, and accurate deliveries using routing and dispatch systems.
• Review logs, hours of service, and DOT compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with distribution center departments for timely deliveries.
• Additional duties and special projects as assigned.
