Performance Food Group is seeking a Transportation Supervisor in Augusta, ME to supervise drivers, ensure safe on-time deliveries, and monitor DOT logs. You will coordinate driver scheduling, training, and performance, while maintaining compliance with DOT and company policies.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years in transportation, CDL Class A, and familiarity with fleet systems and MS Office. This role supports efficient routes and cost control within a busy distribution operation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A CDL and High School Diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of transportation or related experience.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements.
• Experience using computerized fleet management systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates, including staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and problem resolution.
• Assist with scheduling and ensure timely completion of deliveries and pickups.
• Ride along with drivers for training and evaluation purposes.
• Administer transportation operations, review driver logs and compliance documentation.
• Ensure DOT regulations and company policies are followed by drivers.
• Enter and access data using fleet management systems.
• Promote safe work practices and vehicle safety.
• Maintain driver records and safety-related information.
• Ensure completion of DOT logs, DVIRs, and related paperwork.
• Review pre-trip and post-trip inspections and trucks’ maintenance.
• Collaborate with leadership to minimize costs and improve routes.
