Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Augusta, ME to oversee receiving, order pulling, and loading for next-day delivery. You will manage administrative staff, ensure accurate paperwork, and uphold efficient warehouse operations.

You’ll drive adherence to FIFO, safety protocols, and productivity standards while coordinating with the Warehouse Manager and utilizing the warehouse management system. Growth opportunities are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 2–4 years of warehouse or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises administrative staff including hiring, scheduling, training and guidance, establishing job standards and evaluating performance.
• Ensures timely, accurate and complete order pulling for all orders pulled during the shift and that all paperwork is completed.
• Ensures inventory is stocked properly and FIFO procedures are followed for stock rotation.
• Demonstrates strong service quality through personal example and ensures staff understand their roles in meeting customer expectations.
• Coordinates pick planning with Warehouse Manager.
• Utilizes warehouse management system and other technologies to maximize productivity and analyzes productivity levels to recommend changes.
• Maintains building security and safe operation of material handling, following health and safety programs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
