Performance Foodservice in Maine is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee driver training, delivery scheduling, and DOT compliance, ensuring safe, efficient, on-time operations.

You will ride along for training, manage driver records, and coordinate with leadership to improve route efficiency while maintaining safety standards. This role requires a CDL and 2–4 years in transportation.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• 2–4 years in transportation or related field.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements.
• Experience using fleet management software and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise drivers, staffing, coaching, performance management, and issue resolution.
• Assist with scheduling and ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Ride along with drivers for training and evaluation.
• Administer transportation functions, review logs, expense reports, and compliance documentation.
• Ensure drivers comply with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Enter and access data using fleet management systems.
• Promote safe work practices and monitor vehicle safety and equipment usage.
• Maintain driver records, licenses, citations, accidents, and safety information.
• Ensure accurate delivery and driver documentation (DOT logs, DVIRs, invoices).
• Coordinate with Transportation and Operations leadership to optimize routes and reduce costs.
