Job summary

Reyes Holdings is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to manage on-time dispatches, control costs, and minimize product loss while maintaining a safe work environment. You will coordinate daily plans, equipment maintenance, and driver schedules to meet customer delivery needs.

The role includes developing staff, potentially chairing quality and safety committees, and partnering with HR to ensure year-round staffing levels that foster engagement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 3–4+ years related experience and 0–1+ years supervisory experience.
• Or High School Diploma with 5+ years specific experience and 1–2+ years supervisory experience.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop the daily operating plan including equipment maintenance and driver schedules to meet delivery needs.
• Solve problems promptly to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Provide development to supervisory and driver staff and lead committees such as quality and safety.
• Partner with human resources to ensure staffing levels throughout the year for employee involvement.
• Other duties as assigned

Position responsibilities

• The Transportation Supervisor ensures annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost and product loss and damage
• You will ensure a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully
• This role assists in developing the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules to meet or exceed our customers’ delivery needs as well as promptly solving problems to the maximum satisfaction of our customers
• The Transportation Supervisor will provide development to supervisory and driver staff, and potentially lead various committees, such as quality and safety
• Additionally, you will partner with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels throughout the year in order to foster a work environment with maximized employee involvement
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• Associate's degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience or High School Diploma with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree
