Job summary

Reyes Family of Businesses is seeking a supervisor to oversee daily delivery operations, planning driver schedules, routes, and ensuring on-time performance. You will foster a motivating environment for employees and monitor KPIs to close performance gaps while upholding DOT/OSHA safety standards.

Additionally, you will balance routes with customer demand, maintain strong internal and external relationships, and participate in ongoing projects to support overall business objectives.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with 3–4+ years of related experience and 0–1+ years supervisory experience, or a GED with 5+ years of specific experience and 1–2+ years supervisory experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily delivery operations, including planning driver schedules, managing routes, and ensuring on-time deliveries.
• Foster an environment promoting employee engagement and a culture where staff feel valued and motivated.
• Monitor driver performance, analyze KPIs, and address gaps to meet department targets.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and safety/health standards (DOT, OSHA) via safety audits.
• Coordinate and adjust driver routes daily to balance schedules, customer demands, and workload.
• Maintain positive customer relationships through regular communication to improve delivery efficiency.
• Perform other projects or duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

• Supervise daily delivery operations, planning and schedulingincluding planning driver schedules, managing routes, and ensuring deliveries are completed on time
• Foster an environment that promotes employee engagement, taking responsibility for establishing and sustaining a culture where employees feel valued and motivated
• Ensure quality standards and productivity goals are achievedby monitoring driver performance, analyzing KPIs, and addressing any performance gaps to meet department targets
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and safety and health standards (DOT, OSHA, etc.) by conducting safety audits, ensuring driver adherence to protocols, and staying current on regulatory changes
• Coordinate and adjust driver routes daily to balance delivery schedules, customer demands, service hours, and workload, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries
• Establish and maintain positive customer relationshipsinternally and externally through regular communication collaboration to improve delivery efficiency and meet overall business objectives
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• Associates Degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years supervisory experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience
