Unilever PLC in Hoboken, NJ seeks an Associate Director Transportation to lead the transportation strategy across domestic freight, 3PLs, and carriers. You will partner with Warehousing, Planning, Procurement, Finance, and technology teams to deliver reliable service and cost outcomes.

The role emphasizes governance, KPI ownership, risk mitigation, and scalable network optimization in a fast-paced supply chain environment. Experience in SAP and Power BI is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Significant experience leading transportation, logistics, carrier management, distribution, customer operations, or supply chain execution in a complex operating environment.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen to translate transportation data, cost drivers, service trends, and operational risks into clear actions.
• Proven stakeholder leadership and change management skills across internal teams and external logistics partners.

Responsabilidades

• Lead transportation performance across service, cost, safety, compliance, carrier management, and network reliability.
• Set direction, governance, and cross-functional alignment to support commitments to customers and business objectives.
• Own transportation KPIs, including service, cost, tender acceptance, on-time delivery, claims, detention, capacity, and customer-impacting escalations.
• Partner with Procurement to shape carrier sourcing, contract strategy, supplier performance routines, and continuous improvement plans.
• Collaborate with Warehousing, Planning, Finance, and 3PLs to resolve transportation risks, optimize network flow, and protect customer service.
• Drive cost productivity, process simplification, digital enablement, and operational controls that improve transportation reliability and decision-making.
• Build team and partner capability through clear priorities, disciplined performance routines, issue escalation, and change management.
