Job summary

Unilever is hiring an Associate Transportation Manager, Ambient to support reliable, cost-effective transport of ambient Foods products across the network. You will work with carriers, 3PLs, planning, warehousing, procurement, and finance to meet service commitments and improve performance.

You will monitor execution, analyze KPIs, and drive continuous improvement while upholding safety, compliance, and sustainability objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain operations, customer operations, warehousing, or related environment.
Strong analytical ability to interpret data and support decision-making.
Strong communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Monitor daily ambient transportation execution with carriers, 3PLs, and internal teams to resolve service risks and delivery exceptions.
Track and report KPIs (on-time performance, incidents, cost per pallet/ton, service escalations).
Support governance routines by preparing insights, root-cause analysis, and action follow-through.
Collaborate with procurement, finance, and logistics to support cost-to-serve, tender prep, and network optimization.
Coordinate with internal teams to improve processes, data accuracy, and returns handling.
Contribute to safety, compliance, and sustainability objectives by reducing waste and carbon impact.
