Cardinal Health is seeking a senior transportation leader to drive optimization across inbound and outbound lanes. You will guide a team of transportation executives, shaping cost-to-serve models and strategic routing decisions for Cardinal Health's distribution network.

You will collaborate with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Sales, Systems, and external 3PL partners to ensure aligned, data-driven transportation initiatives and measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in transportation analytics, network design, or data modeling.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau; strong MS Office skills.
• Excellent business writing and communication for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of transportation executives overseeing daily operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics capabilities and service for 3PL customers.
• Optimize routing, location and carrier strategies across the transportation network.
• Design and maintain customer solutions that deliver mutual value.
• Conduct cost-to-serve and fleet equipment analyses to support decisions.
• Support account management on regular business calls and reviews.
• Lead transportation cost modeling and assist in contract negotiations.
• Translate analytics and network modeling outputs into clear insights for stakeholders.
