Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a seasoned Transportation Analytics Leader to guide a team in optimizing inbound/outbound lanes for 3PL customers. You will design cost-to-serve analyses, model networks, and collaborate with Legal, Finance, and Sales to drive strategic decisions.

The role requires a strong background in transportation analytics, network design, and data visualization, with travel around 10% and a focus on cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field.
• 8+ years in transportation analytics, network design, or data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of domestic transportation modes and warehousing operations.
• Proficiency in Power BI and Tableau.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills including regression modeling and optimization techniques.
• Excellent business writing and communication skills; able to present complex data to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of transportation executives.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics capabilities and service optimization for 3PL customers.
• Optimize routing, location, and carrier strategies across the transportation team.
• Design, implement, and maintain customer solutions delivering mutual value.
• Conduct cost-to-serve and fleet equipment analyses for strategic decisions.
• Support Account Management on regular business calls to review strategies and performance.
• Lead transportation cost modeling and support customer contract negotiations.
• Develop and operationalize new logistics capabilities through standardized processes.
• Build and maintain cross-functional relationships to inform decisions and gather feedback.
• Translate complex analytics and network models into clear insights for stakeholders.
