Cardinal Health is seeking a senior transportation analytics leader to drive optimization across inbound and outbound lanes for its 3PL and distribution networks. You will mentor a team, model costs, and collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Sales to deliver value for customers and the enterprise.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional influence, and the implementation of standardized processes to improve speed, reliability, and cost across nationwide operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in transportation analytics, network design, or data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of domestic transportation modes, regulations, and warehousing operations.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Advanced quantitative and analytical skills including regression modeling and optimization.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of transportation executives overseeing day-to-day operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve logistics capabilities and service for 3PL customers.
• Optimize routing, location, and carrier strategies across the broader team.
• Design and maintain customer solutions delivering mutual value.
• Conduct cost-to-serve and fleet equipment analyses for strategic decisions.
• Support Account Management on regular business calls to review strategies and performance.
• Lead transportation cost modeling and assist with contract negotiations.
• Develop logistics capabilities through standardized processes.
• Build relationships across the enterprise to inform decisions and gather feedback.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Sales, Systems, and 3PL teams to ensure alignment.
