Job summary

Saia Inc. is seeking a high-impact sales leader to drive growth of Alaska, Hawaii offshore services and MABD Guarantee. You will partner with the Saia sales organization and cross-functional teams to identify customer opportunities and craft value-based solutions.

You will help expand market share and revenue while collaborating with Operations, Pricing, Technology, and Customer Service to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction. Travel is required as part of market development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, sales, or business development.
Knowledge of Alaska and Hawaii offshore transportation and related services.
Understanding of guaranteed and time-sensitive transportation products.
Ability to educate and enable a large sales organization.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for Alaska, Hawaii, and MABD Guarantee services.
Develop growth strategies targeting customers, industries, markets, and shipping profiles.
Serve as product expert for Alaska, Hawaii offshore services and MABD Guarantee; support sales.
Support discovery calls, presentations, pricing discussions, and sales process progression.
Expand adoption in existing Saia customer relationships to increase revenue.
Collaborate with internal teams to design solutions improving service, transit, and visibility.
Build relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders across functions.
Monitor pipeline, revenue, profitability, and product performance to identify opportunities.
