Job summary

Saia, Inc. in Orange County, CA seeks a strategic business development professional to grow Alaska, Hawaii, and MABD Guarantee services.

You will partner with the Saia sales organization to identify opportunities and develop value-based solutions. The role emphasizes expanding market share, revenue, and customer adoption while aligning cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, time-sensitive transportation services.

Qualifications

Understanding of Alaska and Hawaii offshore transportation and related markets.
Knowledge of guaranteed and time-sensitive transportation products and pricing.
Experience with LTL or ocean transportation and related service offerings.

Responsibilities

Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for Alaska, Hawaii, and MABD Guarantee services.
Develop growth strategies focused on target customers, industries, and shipping profiles.
Serve as SME for Alaska/Hawaii offshore services and MABD Guarantee, providing product expertise to the sales team.
Support discovery calls, solution presentations, and pricing discussions.
Expand adoption within existing Saia customer relationships to increase revenue.
Collaborate with Operations, Pricing, Technology, and Customer Service on delivery and satisfaction.
