Job summary

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Specialist to oversee the daily activities of Class A CDL drivers and company equipment. The role ensures safe, efficient transportation aligned with policies and regulatory requirements.

The Transportation Specialist coordinates pickups, monitors performance, maintains records, and collaborates with drivers, customers, and leadership. It also partners with engineering to address capacity needs and improve service levels.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in management, business, logistics, transportation, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
• Transportation or logistics industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day activities of assigned Class A CDL drivers and company equipment.
• Ensure transportation activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate pickups and deliveries, monitor driver and asset performance, manage attendance and equipment assignments.
• Maintain transportation management system records and communicate with drivers, customers, and leadership.
• Work with engineering to address capacity needs and improve operational efficiency.
• Coach, discipline, and develop drivers as needed while aligning with company policy.
• Utilize TMW, McLeod, and other systems for reporting and decisions.
