The ideal candidate has 8+ years of roadway design and DOT experience, a WI PE license, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and on budget while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in WI or able to obtain within 6 months.
• 8+ years of progressive design experience.
• Experience in coordinating multiple design disciplines and agencies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design and delivery of projects in a profitable manner.
• Oversee the technical aspects of various projects.
• Supervise engineers and support personnel assigned to projects.
• Develop project work plans and budgets, and deploy resources.
• Review business metrics including utilization and backlog.
• Prepare schedules for multiple concurrent projects.
• Develop milestones to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.
• Lead proposals, interviews and client engagements.
• Grow, mentor, and train staff; build relationships with clients and partners.
• Lead business development activities and negotiate terms.
