Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an ambitious Transportation Project Manager to join a seasoned team delivering high-level roadway design and DOT projects.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years of roadway design and project management experience, with a WI PE licensure in progress or achieved within 6 months. The role includes client contact, marketing, and growth of a project team, with travel across the United States.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of roadway design, DOT and project management experience.
• Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) in WI or able to obtain within 6 months.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and Westwood offices across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage the design and delivery of projects in a profitable manner.
• Oversee the technical aspects of various projects.
• Supervise the work of engineers and technical staff assigned to the project.
• Develop project work plans and budget projections and deploy resources.
• Review business metrics: utilization, backlog, WIP, ARs.
• Coordinate schedules for multiple concurrent projects.
• Lead proposals and client interviews.
• Mentor and train staff; build client relationships; lead business development.
