Job summary

Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is seeking a Transportation Technical Engineer to lead Olympic Region project controls and reporting. You will strengthen project management processes and provide meaningful dashboards to support decisions and delivery.

You will collaborate with Headquarters and regional teams to promote consistency, improve processes, and drive continuous improvement across capital projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience applying project controls and reporting in transportation or construction settings.
• Advanced knowledge of scheduling, cost control, and enterprise content management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across multiple offices.

Responsibilities

• Assess project management needs for Olympic Region offices and partners.
• Develop region-wide project controls and reporting strategy.
• Provide training on scheduling and project controls to Region staff.
