CDM Smith Inc. is seeking a highly qualified Transportation Program Manager for the greater Chicago, IL area.

The role leads complex transportation programs across planning, design, construction and closeout, collaborating with state and local agencies and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The successful candidate will be a Registered Professional Engineer (Illinois or eligible by reciprocity) with strong civil/structural background, travel as required, and proven program management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15 years of related experience required.
• Domestic travel up to 10% or more may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and technical oversight for large transportation programs from planning through closeout.
• Serve as primary liaison with clients, municipalities, state agencies, contractors and stakeholders.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, and resources; monitor risks and quality assurance.
• Develop technical reports, proposals, contracts and client presentations; guide business development activities.
