The ideal candidate is a Registered Professional Engineer in Illinois (or eligible) and willing to relocate to the region. You will oversee projects across highways, bridges, rail, and transit while ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15 years of related experience.
• Some travel may be required (domestic/international).
• Equivalent related experience considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex transportation programs from planning through design, construction and closeout.
• Oversee large-scale programs involving highways, bridges, rail and transit.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risk and quality assurance.
• Serve as primary liaison with clients, agencies, contractors and stakeholders.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
