Job summary

Larson Design Group is seeking a Transportation Program Manager to oversee multiple interrelated projects in transportation, ensuring alignment with agency obligations and long-range plans. You will apply advanced leadership, manage resources and risks, and coordinate across projects to drive performance and compliance.

The role requires 15+ years of experience in transportation planning or engineering, with preferred licensure (PE/RA/PLA/PLS) and a track record in program delivery, budgeting,

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering/Architectural field (ABET or NAAB accredited school preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of fifteen (15) years job-related experience.
• Licensure/Certification: PE, RA, PLA, PLS, or other professional licensure in field strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defines program objectives and aligns them with transportation system goals.
• Develops and manages the program roadmap, schedules, budgets, permitting timelines, and resource plans.
• Leads the program team to ensure cohesive execution and delivery.
• Oversees integration of project plans, schedules, and budgets and resolves inter-project dependencies.
• Manages program scope and change processes, evaluating impacts on funding and schedules.
• Coordinates with finance for invoices, grant management, cost estimation, forecasting, and EVM.
