Job summary

Toole Design Group in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a seasoned transportation professional to lead our integrated transportation engineering and multimodal planning practice. This firmwide leadership role combines practice leadership with active project delivery.

As Practice Lead, you will mentor a team, guide business development, shape technical direction, and collaborate with Design and Planning Directors while reporting to the Engineering Director.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of transportation engineering and multimodal planning experience.
• Proven ability to lead integrated teams on complex projects.
• Track record of business development and client relationship growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and practice growth in partnership with regional leadership.
• Mentor a team of engineers and planners across transportation disciplines.
• Shape technical direction and ensure high-quality project delivery.
• Collaborate with Design and Planning Directors to advance practice priorities.
• Oversee recruitment and strategic staffing to support growth.
