Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in transportation planning, civil engineering, urban planning, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to engage with local communities.
• Proficiency with software tools such as Excel, ArcGIS, and traffic modeling or design software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze/solve complex transportation planning or engineering problems.
• Communicate clearly, orally and in writing, including in a community engagement setting.
• Use software effectively and make timely, informed recommendations.
• Work on projects such as traffic operations simulations, bicycle/pedestrian plans, freight and goods movement planning, and transit planning.
• Adopt new tools and technologies while maintaining professional judgment and accountability.
