Qualifications

Interest or knowledge in transportation planning/engineering principles.
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Passion for partnering with and serving local communities.
Enrollment in bachelor’s or master’s degree program in relevant fields.

Responsibilities

Analyze/solve transportation planning or engineering problems.
Communicate clearly in oral and written form, including community engagement.
Use software effectively and provide timely recommendations.
Work on projects like traffic operations simulations, bicycle/pedestrian plans, freight/movement planning, traffic impact studies, travel demand modeling, transit planning, and regional plans.
Learn and adopt new tools and technologies while maintaining professional judgment.
