Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong interest or knowledge of transportation planning/engineering principles and practices.

• A passion for partnering with and serving the local communities.
• Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze/solve complex transportation planning or engineering problems.
• Communicate clearly in writing and speech, including in community engagement.
• Use software effectively and make timely, informed recommendations.
• Contribute to projects like traffic operations, bicycle/pedestrian plans, freight movement, and travel demand modeling.
• Learn and adopt new tools and technologies while maintaining professional judgment.
