Qualifications

• Interest or knowledge in transportation planning/engineering principles.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Desire to serve local communities.
• Enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Analyze/solve transportation planning problems.
• Communicate clearly in oral and written forms, including community engagement.
• Use software effectively and provide timely recommendations.
• Work on traffic operations, bicycle/pedestrian plans, freight, mode shift, and regional plans.
