Job summary

Qualifications

Pursuing or holding a bachelor's/master's in a transportation-related field.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Interest in transportation planning and engineering principles.
Willingness to learn new tools and collaborate with staff.
GIS or travel demand modeling experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Analyze/solve complex transportation planning problems
Communicate clearly, both orally and in writing, including in a community engagement setting
Use software effectively and make timely and informed recommendations
Work on projects such as traffic operations simulations, bike/pedestrian plans, freight movement planning
Adopt new tools and technologies while maintaining professional judgment
