Job summary

AtkinsRéalis, in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Transportation Planning Intern with interest in NEPA to support our transportation team. The role focuses on preparing assessments, creating graphics and data tables, assisting with site assessments and data processing under supervision.

You will use Excel, Word, PowerPoint and ArcPro GIS, assist public engagement, and develop communication materials while gaining hands-on experience across environmental planning projects in a collaborative, mentoring

Qualifications

• Must have completed 60 hours towards a bachelor’s degree in planning or related degree by Summer 2027.
• Experience in research, data analysis, and technical report production is preferred.
• Ability to work in outdoor project sites and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with screening assessments under supervision.
• Create graphics, maps, spreadsheets, and tables for technical reports.
• Participate in site assessments, field work, and data processing.
• Support public engagement and prepare informative materials.
