Qualifications
- Enrollment in an Urban and Regional Planning or related program.
- Completion or ongoing coursework in transportation planning, GIS, or data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist planners and engineers with transportation planning studies and related projects.
- Support data collection, research, and analysis on traffic volumes, crash history, roadway characteristics, and mobility needs.
- Prepare maps, graphics, tables, and presentation materials for client meetings and reports.
- Review planning guidance, comprehensive plans, and policy documents.
- Contribute to planning-level recommendations by organizing technical information and summarizing conditions.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of planners, engineers, and project managers.
- Additional tasks as needed.
