Job summary

HNTB is seeking an intern-level planning analyst to support data collection, analysis, and reporting for transportation and urban planning projects. You will assist in creating maps, exhibits, and presentation materials under supervision, gaining experience across the project lifecycle.

The role targets current/former HNTB interns and offers exposure to planning methodologies, stakeholder engagement, and environmental documentation tasks within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in urban planning, geography, engineering, or related field.
• Proficiency with GIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to compile and summarize data and assist in reporting with direction from senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, organizes, analyzes and provides review of the data for use in projects and for further analysis.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Assists project team with development of maps, exhibits, and presentation materials.
