Fehr & Peers is seeking a transportation planning professional to contribute to a range of projects including traffic operations, forecasting, and design tasks. The role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven analyses, and client engagement across transportation modes.

You will participate in meetings, prepare presentations and deliverables, and support project coordination while expanding your technical skills and industry knowledge within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in transportation, civil or electrical engineering, urban and regional planning, or related field.
• An EIT is preferred for engineering candidates.
• Experience in field work, traffic operations analysis, signal design, transportation planning, and related topics.
• Familiarity with technical software and tools such as GIS, CAD, and travel demand modeling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct transportation analysis and prepare reports, memos, and other technical deliverables.
• Participate in meetings, including preparing presentations and public outreach materials.
• Support project coordination and management activities.
• Engage with professional organizations and industry activities.
• Conduct site visits and collect field data.
• Explore opportunities to contribute to Fehr & Peers internal Research and Development program.
• Embrace new tools and technologies to enhance day-to-day work with professional judgment.
