Job summary

Dealer Tire is seeking an experienced Transportation/Logistics Leader to direct daily transportation activities across the company’s network. You will collaborate with Distribution Centers, carriers, and field teams to meet service and cost goals, and you'll develop carrier partnerships to optimize routes and costs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least five years in logistics, experience with parcel shipping, and proficiency with JD Edwards and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least five years of strong hands-on experience in logistics and/or transportation including daily operations.
• Experience with parcel shipping and specialized regional courier delivery carriers preferred.
• Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
• Software experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate daily transportation activities across the company’s network.
• Monitor and resolve carrier performance issues and negotiate rates.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and cost/benefit analysis.
• Create executive‑level reporting on trends and savings with ROI analysis.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for transportation and guide related teams.
