Job summary

Toyota Material Handling is seeking a Transportation Analyst to support inbound and outbound shipping, coordinating with carriers and internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of related experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with SAP/TMS and Microsoft Office. Hybrid/onsite work in Columbus, IN with up to 20% travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Certifications in Logistics related field preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Working knowledge of intermodal and over-the-road transportation.
• Ability to work with customers and carriers via telephone.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of TMS and SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service support to internal and external customers.
• Gather data from carrier scorecards to support decision making.
• Analyze and process freight damage claims.
• Assist in development of yearly departmental budget.
• Gather data for cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
• Foster carrier relations through clear communication and conflict resolution.
• Process freight invoices and support transportation operations.
