Qualifications

• 5+ years in transportation, logistics, or fulfillment center operations.
• Strong understanding of yard management systems, shipping platforms, and carrier networks.
• Proven ability to lead and grow teams while driving process improvements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze data and take action based on improvement opportunities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Looker or Tableau, YMS, and TMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for local and national carrier communication and issue resolution.
• Oversee truck yard operations, yard management, and carrier coordination.
• Monitor KPIs (On-Time Performance, Yard Capacity, Trailer Dwell Time) and drive improvements.
• Coach and develop Transportation Coordinators, including performance feedback.
• Support peak readiness planning and surge mitigation strategies.
• Maintain relationships with building departments and align with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in weekly meetings across Last Mile, FC Transportation, and Carrier teams.
• Contribute to transportation standardization across the network.
