Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Transportation Lead Specialist in Tempe, AZ to manage daily freight movements into and out of North American fulfillment centers and the broader network. You will analyze data, drive process improvements, and lead teams to resolve disruptions, while maintaining clear communication with carriers, vendors, and internal groups.

The role requires strong program management, data extraction via SQL/Excel, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

High school or equivalent diploma.
Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (pivot tables, charts, lookups, formulas).
Experience managing large data sets and using data to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

Continual communication with external customers (Carriers, Vendors) and internal teams.
Create narratives of weekly findings and variances to goals for review.
Meet critical business needs within time constraints while tracking activities.
Lead initiatives to re-engineer processes and eliminate root causes of defects.
Accelerate data and issue resolution to appropriate owners and teams.
Pull data from multiple databases (Excel, Access, SQL) and perform ad hoc reporting.
