Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in California is seeking Transportation Area Managers to oversee operations across the region. You will lead a team of Transportation Associates, drive safety, quality, and customer delivery performance, and partner with site leadership on process improvements.

The role requires 2+ years of management experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with site leadership on quality and Customer Experience metrics, including root cause analysis.
• Streamline logistics in the operation through standard work and team leadership.
• Support and commit to all safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
